We're working with a leading SaaS product company in Spain that is looking for a
Python + Angular Engineer
to join their team on a long-term freelance basis. The role is
backend leaning
, with roughly
65% Python and 35% Angular
.
You'll be part of a product focused engineering team building and scaling a mature SaaS platform used at scale.
The Role
- Build and maintain backend services using Python (approx. 65%)
- Design and work with APIs, data flows, and core business logic
- Develop and enhance frontend features using Angular (approx. 35%)
- Collaborate closely with product managers and other engineers
- Write clean, scalable, and well tested production code
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Python in backend focused roles
- Solid Angular experience building production applications
- Experience working in SaaS or product led environments
- Comfortable working remotely and managing your own workload
- Freelance availability
- Based in Spain, Spanish citizenship required
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
- Experience working on high traffic systems
