Oracle HCM Cloud – Senior Technical & Functional Lead

Client-Side Oversight | Open to Spain (Priority) & USA

Role Objective

Ensure that the Oracle HCM Cloud implementation delivered by MN8's system integrator meets the client's business, technical, and regulatory requirements across the United States and Spain. This role represents the client's interests, safeguarding solution design, quality, cost control, and compliance throughout the program lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the client's senior Oracle HCM expert and primary counterpart to the implementation partner
  • Review, challenge, and approve functional and technical designs (HLD / LLD)
  • Control scope, dependencies, and change requests (CRs)
  • Validate Oracle HCM module configuration
  • Oversee integrations, data migration, reconciliation, and security
  • Ensure compliance with labor, payroll, and data privacy regulations (USA & Spain)
  • Review and govern testing strategy and execution (SIT, UAT, Payroll Parallel)
  • Ensure readiness for go-live and hypercare
  • Document key decisions, risks, and recommendations for executive stakeholders
  • Escalate deviations based on technical and business impact, not politics

Experience Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of Oracle HCM Cloud experience
  • 3–4+ full-cycle implementations as Lead, SME, or Client-Side Lead
  • Proven experience in multinational environments
  • Prior client-side experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced professional English
  • Spanish: native or advanced level

  • Ability to challenge system integrators with technical authority
  • Strong business and risk-oriented mindset
  • Clear, executive-level communication and documentation
  • Confidence to say "no" with solid technical and business justification

Engagement Details

  • Start date: January 2026 (immediate availability preferred)
  • Duration: Initial 18 months, with strong likelihood of extension
  • Work model: Primarily remote
  • Spain-based candidates may be required to attend occasional onsite meetings in Madrid
