AXON Networks is looking for a Telecommunications Algorithms Engineer to join our team as an Algorithms & Data Analyst Developer. You'll work on cutting-edge solutions for global ISPs like DT, Telefónica, and Bouygues, improving access networks, WiFi management, and E2E software.

The Telecommunications Algorithms Engineer plays a key role in the design and development of AXON Networks products focused on access and WiFi technologies. You'll leverage your technical expertise in algorithms and PON/WiFi systems throughout the entire release process, including data analysis, algorithm definition, documentation, implementation, testing, and bug fixing.

You will be working in a dynamic and continuous learning environment, with highly cooperative colleagues, and you will feel a part of a highly skilled technical community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert support for AXON Networks product features.
• Design, develop, and refine algorithms, including troubleshooting and bug fixing.
• Drive innovation in managing access networks, setting the direction for next-generation software solutions for network access technologies.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver transformative products that meet the needs of global ISPs.

Requirements:

• Technical Skills

• Master's in Telecommunications or related field (PhD is a plus).

• Experience working on physical layer of communication systems.
• Knowledge of communication systems and statistical processing.
• Knowledge of copper (DSL), fiber (PON) or Wi-Fi technologies is desirable.
• Experience in collection, tests definition, analysis, reporting of data, etc. in lab/production environments.
• Experience with database languages such as SQL/mongodb.
• Experience in control version systems, as GIT.
• Experience in Java software development.
• Experience in algorithm analysis
• Familiarity with Linux (as user) as well as programming in scripting languages like Python.
• Familiarity with data mining and machine learning algorithms
