Brief Call
: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you

Interviews
(the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities

Case study
: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job Description
Take your career to the next level with Amaris Consulting as a Senior Fullstack Java and Developer.

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in fullstack development using Java and , demonstrating a solid understanding of both technologies.
• Proven experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong commitment to innovation and a desire to learn and grow within the role.
• High proficiency in English (Spanish is not required).

AND IF YOU ALSO HAVE…

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices, particularly with tools like Jenkins and Bitbucket.
• Experience with database technologies such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Willingness to work from the office in Barcelona.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Serve as the lead expert in fullstack development, driving the implementation of new functionalities and identifying improvements in our current applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose issues and propose enhancements related to software development workflows.
• Develop and maintain scalable applications using Java for backend services and for frontend interfaces.
• Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment are followed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and continuously seek opportunities for innovation and learning.
