MO Applications Support & .NET Senior Specialist
to join our strategic projects for a major international organization in
Germany
.

Working model:

Contract:
Long-term project, contract until 31/12/2026, with
yearly renewal.

Security Clearance:

Holding EU SECRET/NATO SECRET
Security Clearance
is mandatory. Nonetheless, candidates without
current
clearance will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse, design, develop and maintain
    Microsoft Office
    bespoke applications using
    .NET technologies.
  • Support the full application lifecycle: feasibility, development, testing, release and maintenance.
  • Maintain and enhance existing in-house applications, including bug fixing and user support.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to assess change requests and implement solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with
    IT Change Management and Release Management procedures
    .
  • Provide user training and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams
    (DBA, Applications, Infrastructure)
    to ensure service reliability.

Must Have

  • Strong experience in
    Microsoft Office automation
    , including
    VBA
    ,
    macros, and MS Access in client-server architectures using MS SQL Server.
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining applications using
    VB.NET / C# and MS SQL Server.
  • Experience supporting and developing Microsoft Office applications,
    including MS Project and MS Visio
    .
  • Experience managing and maintaining a
    large portfolio of in-house applications (≈80 applications)
    .
  • Experience with
    Release Management tools
    (e.g. Subversion).
  • Experience working in enterprise environments and change management processes.
  • Fluent professional English.
  • Proven experience in technical documentation, work planning and application lifecycle ownership.
  • Ability to work in multinational, security-oriented environments.
  • Eligibility for
    NATO SECRET

Nice to Have

  • Experience with
    Azure, Power BI, Dynamics CRM.
  • Knowledge of
    ITIL / Prince2 / Agile
    .
  • Experience in classified or international public sector environments.

Certifications:

  • Microsoft certifications in
    C#, .NET, SQL Server, Azure or Office Development.
  • MCSE / MCSD
    or equivalent.
  • ITIL, Prince2
    or similar frameworks.
