XCI is a Danish-owned company based in Aalborg, Denmark, with English as our corporate language. You will receive training in Aalborg and, upon returning to Madrid, be fully supported by colleagues in Denmark. We are establishing a local support office in Madrid, which will be your primary workplace when you are not visiting XCI customers.

Areas of Responsibility

Working closely with an experienced team of system consultants in Denmark, you will support our customers through tasks such as:

• Planning customer deliveries, including preparation, documentation, and execution of software installations
• Conducting training in XCI's software in collaboration with colleagues from XCI Academy
• Contributing to internal documentation and software release testing
• Providing support and maintenance of customer installations—remotely from the local office and frequently onsite
• Ensuring high customer satisfaction by responding to inquiries in our support ticket system
• Translating customer needs and feedback into input for XCI's development team

You will join a dedicated and experienced delivery team in an inspiring international environment where you can shape your role. At XCI, customer insight is central to everything we do.

About you
You have 5-10 years of relevant experience as a Senior System Consultant, IT Consultant, or Infrastructure Specialist in an international software or technology company. You are technically strong and comfortable both operating and designing large-scale IT solutions on Linux and Windows platforms.

You create value for customers by combining deep technical expertise with a strategic mindset. As a trusted advisor, you guide customers, shape solution architectures, and ensure long-term stability and scalability. You also work closely with XCI's Delivery and Development teams to keep our solutions secure and effective.

You have solid knowledge of several of the following areas:

• Docker and virtualization
• Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Advanced Linux administration, scripting, and automation
• System and server monitoring (Graphite, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)
• ElasticSearch and MongoDB (a plus)
• Cloud or hybrid infrastructure design and optimization

You stay ahead of industry trends and continuously grow your expertise in infrastructure, cloud, and modern operations. You are accountable, proactive, and structured, with a "the task stops with me" mindset. You work well under pressure, are comfortable with both hands-on tasks and stakeholder interaction, and support junior colleagues by sharing knowledge and improving processes.

Because the role involves customer interaction, strategic projects, and close internal collaboration, excellent English and Spanish communication skills, spoken and written, are required.
