Hexcel is currently seeking a Quality Coordinator for our Parla location (Spain).

The selected individual will be responsible for, but not limited, to the following obligations: 

  • To coordinate the work with Process Engineers in Continuous improvement projects as FOD, vision systems, Nadcap...
  • To coordinate the work with Satellite plants in standardization plans
  • To coordinate the work closely with production to implement" right first time" culture and "error-proofing initiatives" and improving understanding of customer requirements.
  • Problem solving: Understand root cause of our main issues causing problems (customer rejections, complaints, internal NC's, scrap, etc.)  and implement robust corrective actions and verify their effectiveness to avoid reoccurrence.
  • Implement preventive actions and standardize learnt lessons/good practices across the lines.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering and experience in Composite.
  • At least 3 years experience in quality with team management
  • A Master in Composite Materials will be an asset
  • English speaking.
  • Advanced level in data software's.
  • Statistical or Six Sigma knowledge.
