Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our Data Science team under the guidance of the Director of Analytics & Decision Science. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects, work across departments to deliver analytics solutions, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. As an experienced team member, you'll develop and execute on data science strategies and roadmaps and play a critical role in shaping how we use data and AI to drive success.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Science Projects: Manage and deliver small to medium-scale Data Science and AI projects, from planning to execution, ensuring deliverables meet business needs.
• Provide Data Expertise: Act as the go-to expert on internal data resources, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, project managers, and business teams to define requirements and implement advanced analytics solutions.
• Deliver Data Analysis & Insights: Utilize tools like Python, Power Automate, AI, Power BI and SQL to create solutions
• Drive Process Improvement: Develop standardized protocols for data extraction, management, and quality assurance.
• Provide Strategic Input: Contribute to the development of data management standards, prototypes, and reporting models to drive organizational goals.
• Deliver Presentations & Communication: Prepare compelling presentations and reports to share insights with management and key stakeholders.
• Keep Abreast of Market Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and developments in healthcare and logistics

Work Experience

• Strong expertise in Python
• Strong expertise in relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
• Experience with data management, reporting, and delivering actionable insights
• Knowledge of tools like Databricks, Alteryx Designer and Power Automate is a plus
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Proven leadership skills and experience mentoring team members or leading small projects

Skills And Knowledge

• Intellectual curiosity and a self-starter mindset
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across teams

Education

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in data science, ideally within logistics or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science)
