Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Software Verification Engineer, located in the Greater Madrid Metropolitan Area. The role involves performing software verification and validation activities such as test case creation, execution, and reporting. The engineer will assess compliance with safety-critical software standards, review embedded software for accuracy, and contribute to the reliability of high-assurance systems. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to best practices will be essential.

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of OO programming languages (C++, ADA) a must
  • Experience with Software Verification and compliance processes
  • Knowledge of Software Development and Embedded Software workflows
  • Proficiency in creating and executing Test Cases for safety-critical systems
  • Strong skills in Software Testing methodologies
  • Familiarity with safety-critical standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254, ISO is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate findings effectively and work collaboratively in a team
