Can you imagine contributing on an international Pharma project?

Join our expert team to work as a Senior Java Developer designing and developing the business logic and backend services for full-scale applications using Java and modern frameworks. Based on defined user stories, develop high-quality, maintainable code, including unit/integration tests and documentation, to deliver product increments in rapid iterations.

How do we make this happen?

With people. Besides your team and manager, you'll have several support figures like a godparent, who will help you with the practical and administrative aspects of daily life during your first 6 months.

And the second most important person after you, your mentor, who will guide you through your entire onboarding and career at ERNI. You'll have regular 1:1 meetings with them, and recurrently, you'll work on your development plan to define your short-, medium-, and long-term goals.

What will you bring?

  • Strong experience in
    Java
    Backend development with
    SpringBoot
    .
  • Top-level experience with
    AWS
    services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
  • Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL: schema design, query optimization, and stored procedures.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices; familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift) & basic knowledge of Terraform for infrastructure as code.
  • Ability to work in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
  • Good communication skills in
    English
    (spoken and written) - your day by day will be in this language.

You will be responsible for

  • Support, maintain, and optimize development and production environments, including the continuous delivery pipeline.
  • Automate recurring tasks using scripts and tools to ensure efficient system maintenance.
  • Collaborate with the product development team and product owner to deliver secure, scalable, and fully functional applications aligned with business goals.
  • Contribute to the architecture and documentation of GxP-validated use cases.

Our working model

We ask you to be available for key meetings. Need to leave for a doctor's appointment or to pick up your child from school? No problem. We trust you to deliver quality work within your 40-hour workweek.

Our model is hybrid: we usually go to the office 2 days a week, though this depends on the project and team—but we love seeing each other's faces; the best stories always happen in the office
