Role Objective

The Trading & Commercial Specialist will play a key role in executeing, managing, and optimizing programmatic advertising campaigns across DSP platforms while proactively identifying upselling opportunities.

Responsibilities

  1. Commercial & Client-Facing Responsibilities

  2. Collaborate with the sales team to identify client needs and translate them into effective programmatic strategies and tailored media plans.

  3. Participate actively in the sales cycle, contributing to proposals, and presenting programmatic solutions to clients alongside the commercial team.
  4. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor both on strategic and operational aspects.
  5. Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities based on campaign performance, market trends, and platform capabilities.
  6. Work closely with planning, creative, and client teams to ensure full alignment between commercial commitments and campaign execution.
  7. Prepare and deliver campaign performance reports and strategic recommendations to clients, ensuring clarity and added value.
  8. Report and coordinate regularly with your line manager to prioritize commercial opportunities and meet both individual and team revenue objectives.

  9. Programmatic & Operational Responsibilities

  10. Set up, launch, and manage programmatic campaigns on DSP platforms such as DV360, The Trade Desk, Xandr, Videoplaza, etc.

  11. Ensure timely and accurate campaign activation and implementation according to client objectives.
  12. Monitor daily campaign performance, pacing, and delivery; optimize in real time to meet and exceed assigned KPIs.
  13. Review data in reporting and BI tools to ensure compliance with campaign objectives and provide actionable insights.
  14. Maintain accurate documentation of live campaigns, tracking pacing vs. delivery, milestones, and optimization history.
  15. Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, planning, creative, client services) to guarantee flawless execution and strategic alignment.
  16. Coordinate with your line manager on daily operational priorities and annual objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in programmatic campaign activation, ideally with exposure to commercial or client-facing responsibilities.
  • Proven experience using the main DSPs and AdServers (DV360, Xandr, Zemanta, The Trade Desk, Videoplaza, Campaign Manager, etc.).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to transform data into actionable business insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas) and BI tools.
  • Intermediate to advanced English level (desirable for global coordination).

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications in DSPs or Google Marketing Platform (e.g., DV360 Certification).
  • Experience supporting pre-sales and sales teams, including client presentations and proposal development.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and clients simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proactive commercial attitude and ability to spot growth opportunities.
