Buscamos un Observability Senior Engineer con un alto grado de autonomía para liderar, diseñar e implementar la estrategia de Observabilidad a nivel global en la compañía. Serás el responsable de impulsar la madurez de nuestros procesos de monitorización, logging y tracing, sirviendo como puente entre los equipos de Desarrollo, Operaciones e Infraestructura.

Funciones

  • Liderazgo e implantación de la estrategia: Diseñar, definir e implementar la hoja de ruta de observabilidad (incluyendo métricas, logs y traces) a través de la organización, asegurando la adopción de las mejores prácticas.
  • Gestión de la plataforma: Administrar, configurar y optimizar Dynatrace como plataforma principal de observabilidad. Liderar la integración con aplicaciones, infraestructura y servicios clave.
  • Dinamización y colaboración: Actuar como evangelista y punto focal de la observabilidad. Relacionarse con los equipos de ingeniería y producto para entender sus necesidades, promover el uso de las herramientas y facilitar la instrumentación de sus servicios.
  • Establecimiento de estándares: Definir y documentar los estándares de instrumentación (SLOs, SLIs, error budgets) y los procesos de gestión de alertas, incidentes y análisis de causa raíz.
  • Integración de herramientas: Gestionar y mantener la integración de Dynatrace con otras soluciones existentes en el stack tecnológico.
  • Formación y mentoring: Capacitar a otros ingenieros en el uso eficaz de las herramientas de observabilidad para que puedan diagnosticar y resolver problemas de forma autónoma.
  • Mejora continua: Evaluar continuamente la plataforma y los procesos para identificar oportunidades de automatización, reducción de ruido de alertas y optimización de costes.

Requisitos deseables:

  • Mínimo de 5 años de experiencia en funciones de Ingeniería de SRE, DevOps, Plataforma u Observabilidad.
  • Experiencia profunda en la administración y optimización de Dynatrace.
  • Conocimiento de logs, métricas y trazas: Experiencia con estándares como OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, o Jaeger.
  • Fuerte conocimiento de arquitecturas cloud-native y experiencia trabajando en entornos Azure, AWS y GCP.
  • Automatización: Habilidad para automatizar tareas de despliegue y configuración de agentes de Observabilidad mediante herramientas de IaC (Infrastructure as Code) como Terraform, Ansible o scripts (Bash/Python).
  • Capacidad demostrada para trabajar de forma autónoma, priorizar tareas y entregar resultados sin una supervisión constante.
  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación interpersonal y presentación para influir y colaborar eficazmente con equipos multidisciplinares.
  • Mentalidad de dueño de producto para la plataforma de observabilidad, impulsando su valor y adopción.
  • Dominio del idioma inglés hablado y escrito para hablar con proveedores y equipos técnicos

Requisitos valorables:

  • Certificaciones Dynatrace University
  • Experiencia práctica o sólida familiaridad con otras herramientas de observabilidad, monitoring y APM, por ejemplo: Grafana, Kibana, New Relic, Nodeping, Nagios, Azure Arc, Datadog.
