We are seeking a highly organized and proactive professional to join our team as a Hardware Engineer. This position is intended for the layout development and testing of highly integrated wearable systems. This comprises the design and fabrication of printed circuit boards including high-speed components and sensitive analog signals. The test of these boards in cooperation with other members of the team is another function of the role under search. Additional skills covering other areas of the product development will be appreciated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design of PCB at schematic and layout levels.
  • Component selection and performance analysis
  • Management of BOM and PCB orders.
  • Generate detailed documentation.
  • Testing and verification of electronic boards with instrumentation handling.

Qualifications
:

BS in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree.

Professional background:

  • PCB design (at least 2-3 years of experience):

  • Knowledge of high-speed design. Familiarity with low EMI, signal integrity and RF design techniques. Knowledge about EMI standards is valued.

  • Usage of CAD tools, especially Altium or EasyEDA. Experience with other tools is also valued.

  • Experience with the use of laboratory instrumentation. Instrument programming is not mandatory but will be valued.

Other skills
:

  • Intermediate/high level of English. Reading and writing documentation is an essential part of this position.
  • Communication skills. Online co-working may be required.
  • Proactive, methodical, and organized.
