The Job:

Candidates should ideally be coming from an event agency or a DMC and have previously worked with a wide range of clients at Senior levels. End to end event/project management is key and candidates must be able to lead the full scope of a given event, as well as manage other team members taking part of the project. The Senior Project Manager remains the lead of the project throughout the event life cycle, being accountable for winning the project, delivering it seamlessly and ensuring the full reconciliation of the project while maximizing the value creation for both the company and the client.

  • Create, plan and deliver large-scale events for a variety of foreign clients across the year
  • Proposal creation and pitch, when required
  • Full logistics including accommodation bookings and all land arrangements throughout full domestic territory
  • Ability to develop concepts, create new products and bring novelty and creativity in the M&E offer
  • Supplier management prior, during and after the event
  • Negotiating with third parties to maximize value creation
  • Client and account management to ensure repeat business
  • Onsite management of the event
  • Budget management and post event reconciliation
  • Troubleshoot and foresee potential risks from third parties
  • Reporting to various stakeholders

Essential requirements:

  • Previous experience/working knowledge in the MICE industry for at least 10 years
  • Experience with leading projects and project teams
  • Fluent in GERMAN. Written and verbal language skills are essential
  • Deep knowledge of the SPANISH territory and what it can offer in terms of MICE services

  • The ability to run a number of different events in parallel and manage a wide range of third parties
  • Stress resistance & ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • A portfolio of satisfied clients
