Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
Sales Leader
to spearhead new business development in the
discrete manufacturing sector
. This role requires a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and terminology, enabling you to engage credibly with business and application stakeholders within manufacturing organizations.

You will lead the sales strategy for a
full-stack solution
that combines
HPE NonStop Compute Server infrastructure
, platform management, optional hosting, and a
Smart Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
application layer. This solution integrates with ERP systems and suppliers to drive
efficiency, quality, digital twin capabilities, and paperless factory operations
, aligned with
Industry 4.0 initiatives
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for manufacturing solutions
  • Build and manage a pipeline of opportunities within discrete manufacturing companies in these regions.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and position our solution effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and ISV partner abat to design and deliver integrated MES solutions.
  • Drive adoption of HPE GreenLake as-a-Service pricing models for cloud-like consumption.
  • Negotiate and close complex solution deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven track record in solution selling to manufacturing companies.
  • Strong understanding of discrete manufacturing processes, terminology, and pain points.
  • Experience working for a manufacturer or selling to manufacturers (credibility in the sector is essential).
  • Ability to articulate value propositions around Industry 4.0, MES, and digital transformation.
  • Familiarity with ERP integration, factory scheduling, and smart manufacturing concepts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work across diverse cultures and geographies in EMEA& LATAM
  • Fluency in English and other local languages, ideally German.
