The regulation of gene expression plays a crucial role in understanding how cells function and respond to genetic and environmental signals. The Gene Regulatory Control in Disease Group focuses on studying the mechanisms controlling gene expression in both development and disease, including nerve disorders, liver disease, and cancer. By integrating experimental and computational approaches, the laboratory examines transcriptional, translational, and post-translational control mechanisms, spanning from single genes to entire genomes. Our goal is to uncover the intricate processes underlying gene expression and their impact on biological and pathological phenomena.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position located in Santiago de Compostela for research and research support staff in the framework of CiMUS R+D+I activities and programs. The selected candidate will carry out tasks such as performing gene regulatory studies, supporting the design and execution of experiments, analyzing experimental data using computational methods, and contributing to the preparation of scientific reports and publications. The role also involves collaboration with team members to support ongoing research efforts within the group.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) functions such as employee onboarding, training, and professional development planning
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Benefits Administration
- Exceptional HR Management capabilities, including talent acquisition and employee relations
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to evaluate data effectively and solve problems
- Educational background in a relevant field such as Human Resources, Psychology, or Social Sciences
- Experience in research-related areas or within scientific environments is an advantage
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage multiple tasks effectively
