Financial Accounting Specialist

Job Title

Summary : We are seeking a Financial Accounting Specialist to ensure accurate, timely revenue and variable cost accounting in alignment with International Financial Reporting Standard 15 (IFRS 15) and our internal policies. You will play a key role in month-end close activities, reconciliations, and cross-functional coordination to support high-quality financial reporting.

This role involves executing postings in SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing), partnering with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and other finance teams, maintaining data integrity from upstream systems (for example, billing and integrated Project Portfolio Management (iPPM)) to the General Ledger and reporting, and resolving revenue recognition misalignments across regions and entities, including non-SAP entities.

In this role you will

Key Responsibilities

• Execute revenue and variable cost postings in SAP in compliance with IFRS 15 and internal accounting policies.
• Lead month-end close activities, including deferred revenue handling, required adjustments, and system reconciliations.
• Coordinate with FP&A and central/local finance teams to ensure correct classification of revenues and variable costs.
• Ensure end-to-end data integrity from upstream sources (billing and iPPM) to the General Ledger and reporting, including Implementations and Service and Consulting streams and complex scenarios mixing intercompany flows within bundled services.
• Monitor, investigate, and resolve revenue recognition misalignments across regions and entities, including non-SAP entities; recommend preventive controls and process improvements.

About the Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting
• Proven experience in financial accounting, with strong knowledge of IFRS 15.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an Advanced level is required
• Proficiency in SAP -FI module and familiarity with financial systems and reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and regions.
