Splunk Engineer

In this role you are working mostly remote from Spain at an ICT Integrator for a major European Insurance client. You will be meeting team in Madrid every once in a while

What you are going to do?
You will build, maintain and coach around our monitoring tool Splunk. Together with your observability colleagues you setup dashboards, guard data quality and coach users how to make good use of this within their business unit.

• Actively discuss the desired functionalities with users

• Implement new functionalities

• Monitor the quality and integrate your product into the already available facilities

• Work in a team and function as a backup for your colleagues

• Coach your colleagues on skills that you excel in

• Experience doing Splunk Admin tasks

• No need for Splunk Security
 
Who you are
Your way of communicating and explaining things clearly gets people on board. This is perfect for conveying and advising users. You empathize with others and understand what information is needed to truly help someone. 

• Minimum 3+ years of Splunk experience

• Knowledge of Infra and Cloud (AWS/Azure)

• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript 

• Ability to independently take on projects

• Ability to coach / train people in your product
 
Need of Splunk Core Certified Power User or Splunk Core Certified Advanced Power User and Splunk (Cloud) Admin
