The Role
We are seeking an Infrastructure Coordinator to join our IT Infrastructure team.

This position is designed for a highly skilled infrastructure professional who enjoys working hands-on with complex systems while coordinating the work of a small team of specialists.

You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of Quintas Energy's hybrid infrastructure (on-premises and Azure). The role combines deep technical execution with daily coordination, guiding others by example rather than through formal management.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Coordination & Leadership

• Coordinate and support a team of 5-7 infrastructure specialists (systems, cloud, network, and security).
• Act as the main technical reference point, ensuring best practices and high execution quality.
• Lead complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and performance optimisation.
• Collaborate with the Head of Infrastructure to plan and execute key technical projects.

Cloud & Systems Administration

• Manage and optimise hybrid Microsoft Azure environments (VMs, Storage, Networking, Load Balancers).
• Maintain Windows and Linux servers, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and NFS.
• Oversee virtualisation and storage systems (Proxmox VE, Ceph, NAS/SAN).
• Implement and monitor backup, disaster recovery, and alert systems (Zabbix, Wazuh).

Automation & Containerisation

• Build, configure, and maintain Kubernetes clusters and containerised environments (Docker).
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools (PowerShell, Python, Ansible).
• Promote standardisation and automation to improve reliability and efficiency.

Network & Security

• Configure and manage LAN/WAN components (switches, routers, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls).
• Implement Zero Trust, RBAC/ABAC models, and endpoint protection (EDR/XDR).
• Ensure compliance with security standards (ISO 27001, NIST).

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement technical and procedural improvements.
• Maintain clear documentation and ensure operational consistency across environments.
• Evaluate emerging technologies aligned with business needs.

Requisitos:

• Technical Expertise
• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure roles.
• Proven experience managing Microsoft Azure hybrid environments.
• Advanced Windows Server and Linux administration skills.
• Strong ability to deploy and maintain Kubernetes clusters.
• Experience with Proxmox VE, Ceph, and network configuration.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python).
• Experience coordinating or mentoring small technical teams (5–7 people).
• Background managing 24/7 production systems.
• Proven ability to deliver infrastructure projects from design to operation.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104) or higher.
• Cisco CCNA / CompTIA Network+.
• Security+ / RHCSA / LPIC-1 (desirable).
• Hands-on, analytical, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to prioritise effectively and stay calm under pressure.
