As
Leather Development & Purchasing Manager
, you will negotiate best leather prices, industrialize leathers, countertype main articles. This position is the main leather referent for Leather Goods leather articles in production.

Your role will be:

  • Industrial development according to Loewe's quality requirements
  • Coordination with Leather Goods Artisans/Modelists
  • Testing process management and Master validation according to the Loewe's Quality standards
  • PLM information system upload with materials technical characteristics
  • Time management of the industrial development in order to meet Production deadlines
  • Negotiation with suppliers: business terms and conditions, LVMH's contractual requirements, prices, production lead times and development lead times
  • Proactive risk analysis set up and quality problem solving with suppliers
  • Countertypeing of materials management
  • Supplier Creation Requirements & documents fill out

What is important for the role:

  • At least 8 years' experience in similar positions managing suppliers and leather development
  • Deep technical knowledge about leather
  • Advanced Spanish and English skills (Italian and/or French will be a plus)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (PLM software will be a plus)
