ROLE SUMMARY:
A leading British international school in Madrid is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Computer Science to join its secondary school team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach in a high-performing, international environment with a strong focus on academic excellence, innovation and digital literacy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach Computer Science across KS3–KS5 (IGCSE / A Level or equivalent)
- Deliver engaging lessons in programming, computational thinking and problem-solving
- Prepare pupils for external examinations and track academic progress
- Contribute to curriculum planning and development within the department
- Support the safe, responsible and effective use of technology in learning
- Contribute to enrichment activities and the wider life of the school
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related subject, with QTS or equivalent
- Experience teaching Computer Science within a British or international curriculum
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for digital learning and innovation
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Commitment to pastoral care, collaboration and professional development
