 About Your Business Area/Department

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is part of the Finance Team in Amadeus. We are in charge of the Reporting, Budget, Forecast along with some ad hoc analysis and process improvement.

Summary  of the role:

This Senior Analyst position will be working for the Hospitality (HOS) Business Unit. This position needs to work hand in hand with the rest of the Hospitality FP&A and Corporate Finance Teams to coordinate & consolidate all the different financial exercises & processes needed to support the Hospitality Business Unit. The final objective is to provide financial support that helps the Business Unit understand the business drivers, evolution and performance of the P&L, and helping them in the decision making of day to day and strategic decisions.

Financial Reporting & Analysis responsibilities

i. Prepare & oversee the accurate and timely reporting of the HOS BU monthly financial results, metrics, variances.

ii. Provide meaningful reports and analysis for management to understand and take necessary actions to manage the Business.

iii. Prepare the monthly Revenues Flash.

iv. Prepare & oversee all the Quarterly Business Reviews (ExCom / HOS / Engineering / Top Projects) for the HOS BU.

v. Prepare all the documentation for the Investors Relations quarterly meetings.

vi. Collaborate with the Product Team on the Product Profitability & the monthly HOS performance reporting.

Planning

i. Support & Coordinate all the Financial Forecasts exercises (aka FFC) with the HOS FP&A and the Corporate Finance Teams.

ii. Consolidate & sanity-check the FFC exercises as well as provide various types of analysis to close the exercise with the Head of HOS FP&A.

iii. Coordinate & Consolidate the LTP exercise with the HOS FP&A Team to facilitate the review & decision making by the Head of HOS FP&A & the HOS Executive Team.
 Business performance and relationships:

i. Build up a solid relationship with the HOS FP&A and the Corporate Finance Teams.

ii. Show proactivity and creativity and a solid business understanding.

Finance Operations / process improvements

i. Seek constant process improvement, ensuring accuracy in the Financial Statements & implement efficient administrative and financial processes while using IT applications. Suggest alternatives / improvements / new techniques in processes, flows, operational models and plans.

About the ideal candidate:
  • Education: University degree or college diploma in Accounting, Mathematics, Commerce, or Business Management/Administration
  • Relevant Work Experience: 6+ years experience as FP&A in a multinational firm
  • Skills: Prior experience in SAP is desirable (preferably S4 Hana)
  • Proficiency in English: professional
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Tools
  • Knowledge of Power BI could be a plus
  • Experience in a multinational environment
  • Critical analytical skills and the ability to clearly communicate results of analysis to management at all levels
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines
