About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Part-time Freelance Lead Instructor who is passionate about Cybersecurity to lead our new and intensive program: the Cybersecurity Track.

This intensive 20-week bootcamp follows a HYBRID model, designed to transform university students into industry-ready Blue Team analysts with strong Red Team literacy. If you are ready for an international challenge that combines remote instruction with three mandatory two-week on-site stays (6 weeks total) in Azerbaijan, this role is for you

Responsibilities

As the Lead Instructor, you will be the pillar of the academic experience:

  • Deliver the Curriculum: Lead the approximately 450 synchronous hours of instruction, delivered entirely in English, covering:
  • SOC & SIEM Operations (Splunk and/or Wazuh configuration and analysis).
  • Incident Response and DFIR.
  • Red Team Literacy (pen testing web/mobile, Active Directory attacks).
  • GRC & Threat Intel (NIST/ISO risk assessments, MITRE ATT&CK alignment).
  • Modern Security (Securing AWS/Azure, AI & SOAR automation).
  • On-Site Commitment: Participate in the three mandatory 2-week on-site sessions in Azerbaijan (at the start, mid-point, and end of the course), totaling 6 weeks on-site.
  • Class Management: Oversee the entire academic experience, ensuring the success of a small class (max. 25 students).
Requirements
  • Technical Experience: demonstrated professional experience in Cybersecurity (Blue Team, Red Team, GRC, DFIR, Cloud Security, or related roles).
  • Teaching Skills: Proven experience in teaching, mentoring, or training professionals, with a genuine passion for education.
  • Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English (spoken and written) as all instruction is delivered in English.
  • Travel Availability: Willingness and ability to travel to and reside in Azerbaijan for the three mandatory 2-week blocks (6 weeks total).
  • Leadership: Ability to manage classroom dynamics, motivate students, and lead an intensive learning environment.
  • Proactivity: Excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Position Details & Logistics
  • Format & Duration: 20 weeks (~450 synchronous hours) + asynchronous pre-work.
  • Schedule: Part-time (specific weekly schedule to be confirmed).
  • Delivery: HYBRID model. Instruction is primarily remote, with 6 mandatory on-site weeks (3 blocks of 2 weeks) in Azerbaijan.
  • Travel Expenses: All travel, accommodation, and subsistence expenses for the 6 weeks in Azerbaijan are fully covered.
  • Start Date: Scheduled for February 2026.
