DC Team Leader

Our Distribution Centre (DC) is based in Tullamarine, Melbourne and truly is the beating heart of our business. Our DC receives shipments from suppliers, distributes products to our stores across Australia and New Zealand, and fulfils all online orders placed by our customers.
We are now on the lookout for a Day Shift Team Leader to join our Distribution Centre team and play an essential role in our daily operations.
The Role You Could Play
As a Team Leader, you'll be an essential on-floor leader, reporting to a Zone Manager. You will act as the daily point of contact for your team, coaching and supporting them to achieve key operational outcomes.
In this role you will:
Oversee daily warehouse tasks for a team, ensuring safety, accuracy and workflow efficiency.
Allocate resources against daily volume projections and provide updates to your Zone Manager.
Train, coach and mentor new team members and contractors.
Troubleshoot operational and team queries, escalating issues where required.
Foster a team culture aligned to MECCA's values and safety-first mindset.
What You Will Bring
We're looking for someone energetic, organised and genuinely passionate about supporting and developing others.
To be successful, you will bring:
Experience coordinating or leading teams in warehousing, logistics or manufacturing.
Confidence in prioritising workflows and meeting tight deadlines with a customer-first mindset.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to team development and coaching.
Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with RF scanning and warehouse systems.
