Overview
The Marketing Brand Manager will drive marketing strategy alongside the cluster team and world-class marketing execution of all consumer and trade activities including branding, PR, Digital advertising, trade marketing and new product launches.
This role among the South Europe Cluster (Iberia and Italy) is pivotal to drive success of the SodaStream revolution in market; pursue the SodaStream brand heat and achieve high growth in household penetration and consumer retention.
Responsibilities
Strategy:
Develop and implement SodaStream marketing strategy to drive consumer household penetration and retail execution. Create conventional and unconventional programs to drive consumer awareness, demand and sell-thru.
Execution:
Drive outstanding execution of marketing strategy and plans. Champion creative promotional initiatives together with sales teams to maximize in-store presence. Champion all consumer initiatives. Develop and execute digital branding activities. Execute and own all marketing materials and ensure flawless implementation (internal and external communication). Establish and implement marketing KPI system to better understand customer needs, market trends and progress against KPI's.
Leadership and Communication:
Be the "voice" of the consumer and marketing initiatives to all functions within SodaStream. Regular communications with all team members about progress, issues, initiatives, customers and opportunities must be carried out. Cheer-lead and develop the marketing and sales team for world-class performance and revolutionary thinking and execution.
Local leadership team member:
Will be a key player at market level, it will also represent the global management and behave accordingly. That will involve cross-functional activities across the Cluster and Global team.
Creativity & Uniqueness:
the individual must demonstrate outstanding Creativity and lateral thinking skills, and ability to write his own "Marketing book".
Qualifications
- Aprox years of management experience (preferably in FMCG/CPG), with an outstanding track record of growth and consumer brand penetration
- Significant experience in a multinational company and ability to navigate within a matrix organisation.
- Experience in drafting & implementing consumer campaigns across all platforms (Specifcaly in PR and Digital mktg)
- Experience executing across multiple channels of trade: grocery, mass, specialist, convenience and unconventional channels
- Proven ability to think creatively and execute with excellence.
- Strong business savvy and P&L management experience.
- Outstanding organizational awareness and communication skills with the ability to manage several internal and external stakeholders. Must be an A team player.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinker. Ability to establish and manage KPI's and P&L's.
- Must be a hands-on manager who is not afraid to dig and get the job done.
- Strong Track record in Spain is critical. Spanish language is mandatory. Experience in Italy and language fluency will be a Plus.
