As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you are a key member of our development team, you collaborate closely with backend engineers, product owners and designers to build and enhance our digital platform, bringing design concepts to life as high-quality, scalable React components.

In this role, you are responsible for driving key technical decisions, taking ownership of critical frontend components, and supporting the team's long-term success. Your expertise plays an instrumental role in ensuring scalability, performance, and a best-in-class user experience for our products. Additionally, you need to guide junior developers, promoting team growth through mentorship and sharing best practices across our development processes.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Strategy

  • Lead the architecture and development of high-impact frontend components, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with technical goals.
  • Drive key technical decisions, particularly in areas of architecture, design patterns, and frontend best practices.

Code Quality & Standards

  • Establish and enforce coding standards and testing practices across the frontend team.
  • Conduct code reviews with a focus on quality, security, and maintainability.

Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing

  • Mentor junior developers, providing guidance on technical challenges, best practices, and career growth.
  • Share knowledge through regular workshops, documentation, and pair programming sessions.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Communication

  • Partner with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, and Backend Engineers to ensure project alignment and cohesive user experiences.
  • Actively participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and technical discussions.

Project Ownership

  • Take full ownership of specific features or components, from development through deployment and maintenance.
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues within the frontend infrastructure.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and methodologies, bringing innovative solutions to the team.
  • Lead initiatives for improving frontend tooling, workflows, and productivity.
