WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORISGlobal is looking for an experienced physiotherapist to work as field technician in the Heat-Gravitas project a project funded by the Canadian Governments' New Frontiers in Research Fund (NFRFI Heat-Gravitas aims to understand how indoor environmental quality affects health and wellbeing of older individuals in Barcelona.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Data collection of wellbeing, health, and clinical data from older adults residing in Barcelona
- Participation in internal research meetings
- Respond to study related questions from study participants
- Coordinate study appointments
- Maintenance of study equipment including wearable devices used for data collection
- Programming of devices prior to data collection and data storage organization following data collection

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS- Degree in Physiotherapy
- Experience in data collection in clinico-epidemiological research
- Experience with geriatric patients
- Knowledge/experience about mobility limitations in the elderly
- Experience in recruitment of older adults for observational research study
- Experience of objective health data collection using wearable devices.
- Proficiency in Catalan, English, and Spanish.
- Duration: 6 months
- Starting date: 01/01/2026
- Contract Type: Full time

SELECTION PROCESSThe selection process is designed in two phases:
1- Interview phase of a technical nature, with the team that requires the incorporation. To assess the person's skills and CV.
2 - Meeting with HR with the finalist(s) to finish assessing the profile and discuss contractual and institutional issues.
If needed any technical test could be passed. A Psychological Competency Evaluation Test will be required for the structural or transversal positions.
In accordance with the OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for every vacancy at the beginning of the process. After reviewing the content of the applications, the panel will start the interviews, with at least one technical and one administrative interview. A profile questionnaire as well as a technical exercise may be required during the process.
