Training and Resource Planning Supervisor

As a Training & Resource planning Supervisor you will work in cooperation with all the ELA OMS Platforms, to ensure that the skills matrices are adapted to the different projects and that all outage services are staffed.

You will collaborate with ELA OMS Operations managers and Project managers, internal trainers, QEHS, Quality Assurance, Human Resources, Purchasing, and other partners at Westinghouse.

You will be in contact with suppliers for the purchase and maintenance of training equipment as well with the Spanish nuclear power plants.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Outage Operations and be located at Madrid, Spain.

As a Training & Resource planning Supervisor you will manage the team in charge of:

• NDT Training:

• Creating a skills matrix for any operational activity together with operational managers

• Ensuring consistency between skills matrices, training procedures and educational materials.

• Updating and checking the Tables of Authorizations, Authorizations and Qualifications of personnel by activity.

• Managing qualifications in SAP/ Faraday as an administrator

• Managing the planning and administration of internal technical training, tracking file, recordings.

• Managing discrepancies in reported experiences and monitoring companionship.

• Participating in updating internal training procedures.

• Consolidating and monitoring the annual training budget.

• Resource planning:

• Managing access preparation in Hermes for all personnel working on Spanish outages.

• Managing in-processing with the Spanish NPPs and securing successful site access

• Collaborating with the other Resource planning groups across ELA OMS to improve resource use across ELA OMS.

• To be deployed (in progress): transitioning to the use of SAP for Resource Planning.

Hybrid work schedule.

• Knowledge on the technical and regulatory requirements of NPP projects.

• Report blocking points to the team and line manager.

• Concerted decision-making with the line manager on specific training and organizational topics.

• Database updating and management.

• Proposal of operational resources based on their authorizations, qualifications and availability.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, scientific or equivalent.

• + 5 years' experience in nuclear-related operational activities.

• Management experience, or leadership skill and willingness to grow in a management function.

• Proficient in English (written and spoken).

• General knowledge of requirements for regulatory and technical training.

• Advanced knowledge of Excel.

• Experience with SAP.
