We are seeking a talented and experienced Android Software Architect (Kotlin) to join our team and support a high-visibility project for one of our clients in the medtech sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and hands-on technical expertise to ensure the delivery of a robust and scalable native Android solution.

DEVELOPMENT & GROWTH

What You'll Bring

• At least 6 years of experience in native Android development.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience with Kotlin.
• Strong experience with APIs and the ability to communicate effectively with backend teams.
• Proficiency in using Jira for project management and tracking.
• Experience working in regulated environments, particularly with medical device software.
• Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of German is a plus.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.

What You'll Do

• Define and drive the technical architecture for a native Android (Kotlin) solution.
• Act as the technical lead for a distributed international team of Android developers.
• Collaborate closely with the Scrum Master, Product Owner, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
• Ensure code quality, scalability, performance, and compliance with internal Android platform and development standards.
• Conduct code reviews, support troubleshooting, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Represent the technical solution confidently in client-facing meetings and agile ceremonies.
• Align development efforts with the Android platform, integration layers, and validation strategy.
