Document Controller – Data Center Construction

Our client is seeking an experienced Document Controller to support data center construction projects in Barcelona. The role is responsible for managing, controlling, and maintaining all project documentation to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely distribution in line with project and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and control all project documentation for data center construction projects
  • Ensure proper document numbering, version control, and filing systems are maintained
  • Coordinate document submissions, reviews, approvals, and distribution with project teams, consultants, and contractors
  • Maintain document control registers, trackers, and logs
  • Ensure compliance with project procedures, quality standards, and contractual requirements
  • Support project teams with reporting, audits, and closeout documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience as a Document Controller in construction projects
  • At least 2–3 years of experience on data center or critical infrastructure projects
  • Proficient in document management systems and MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • Eligible to work in Spain / EU (no visa sponsorship provided)

Compensation

  • Salary will be commensurate with experience
