Cloud Network Engineer (Hybrid)

Locations: Paris (French + English)

Employment Type: Full-time | Hybrid

Sphere Global Solutions is expanding across Europe and we are looking for Cloud Network Engineers with 3–4 years of hands-on experience to support our customers' cloud and on-premises network environments. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, international team delivering high-quality network and cloud services.

About the Role

You will be responsible for supporting, configuring, and optimising customer network environments across both on-premises and AWS cloud. The role combines remote work with on-site visits when needed, so strong communication, independence, and technical capability are essential.

What You'll Do

  • Manage and administer Palo Alto firewalls, including policies, security services, and GlobalProtect VPN.
  • Configure and maintain LAN switches, Wi-Fi infrastructure, and routing components.
  • Deploy, configure, and support AWS networking (VPCs, routing, NAT, security groups).
  • Troubleshoot network, firewall, and cloud connectivity issues across customer environments.
  • Work closely with client stakeholders to ensure security, performance, and compliance.
  • Document configurations, network diagrams, processes, and operational procedures.
  • Follow IT security best practices and change control processes.

What We're Looking For

  • 2–4 years' experience in enterprise networking and cloud environments.
  • Strong knowledge of LAN, Wi-Fi, VLAN management, routing, IP addressing, and cabling (UTP/Fibre).
  • Experience with Cisco networking solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS networking (VPC configuration, routing, access controls).
  • Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and GlobalProtect VPN.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in complex technical environments.
  • Excellent communication skills:
  • Spain role: Spanish + English
  • France role: French + English
  • Ability to work independently and confidently engage with both technical and non-technical users.

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Certifications such as PCNSA, PCNSE, CCNA, CCNP, or AWS certifications.
  • Experience in a managed services environment.
  • Knowledge of ITIL.
