Technica Engineering is a technology company specialized in the development, validation and verification of software and electronic solutions at the automotive sector. With a strong focus on technologies like Automotive Ethernet and the development of ECUS, we bring technical consulting services in areas like ADAS, on-board networks, getaways, and comfort and security functions.

We are currently offering you a position as an SW Product Owner for Automotive Frameworks in permanent employment in Vigo, Spain. The ideal applicant has a background in programming, telecommunications or electronics and has already experience in the daily tasks related with ​SW ​development and ​agile ​methodologies.

What are we looking for?

• Solid product management experience, with a proven ability to drive complex projects from concept to delivery.

• Excellent analytical skills, supported by a solid background in testing, automotive systems, software development (backend or frontend), embedded electronics, and continuous integration environments.

• Demonstrated expertise in system integration and API architecture.

• Proven track record of leading complex, custom software projects within agile frameworks.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across international and cross-functional teams.

• Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, and other agile project management tools.

• Upper-intermediate English proficiency, confident in both technical and professional communication.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the field of Ethernet protocols, e.g. ARP, IPv4, IPv6, TCP / IP protocols.

• Experience with network technology (e.g. switches, VLANs, ...) as well as with protocols.

• Experience with SW development over Linux and Windows based systems.

• Project Management certification (Prince2, ...)

What will your tasks be?

• Collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to define and maintain the product roadmap aligned with business goals.

• Measure product performance and KPIs, ensuring continuous improvement and delivery efficiency.

• Plan, monitor, and deliver project milestones according to defined timelines.

• Lead product development cycles.

• Work with the Scrum Team to plan sprints and review outcomes, ensuring focus on delivering value.

• Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into detailed user stories with a clear acceptance criteria.

• Use data and user feedback to guide prioritization and continuous improvement.

• Create data flow and context diagrams to visualize system interactions and architecture.

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure clarity and delivery of business value.

• Act as the product ambassador and main technical contact for product-related inquiries.

• Provide clear specifications and documentation for the development team.

• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
