Senior Content Designer

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Are you passionate about crafting clear, purposeful content that helps users succeed within a product used by millions worldwide? ****Do you thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments where words shape experiences and every detail matters?

We're seeking a Senior Content Designer to help shape and evolve Manychat's Design System and Content Design practice. You will report to our Product Design Manager and work in a cross-functional team, focusing on creating thoughtful, consistent experiences that make our product intuitive and engaging.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Content creation and strategy: you'll create clear, concise and informative content that guides users effectively and removes any confusion in various places across the Manychat product. Manage relationships with subject matter experts to make sure content is accurate.
• Product thinking: you'll write content strategically, iteratively and always apply the Content design guidelines to content for scalability and consistency. While you create content, you'll always consider the bigger picture, striving to find a balance between empowering the user and meeting business goals within Product language.
• Collaboration: partner with designers, developers, Product marketers, and other stakeholders to think through requirements and features, ensuring alignment on user needs and shared goals.
• Content maintenance and documentation: with the help of the the other Content designer, you'll actively develop existing Content design guidelines and Product voice documentation to build a well established Content design function within the Product design team at Manychat.
• User research: be proactive about testing content and open to being proven wrong by the results to ensure our language is as user-centric as possible. Consult qualitative and quantitative research, published by other teams while establishing guidelines or writing content.
• Advocate for Content design at Manychat: Facilitate workshops and use Content design documentation to help educate other teams about the impact of Content design in shaping user experiences and meeting business goals.

• Create comprehensive, accessible guidelines and documentation
• Base content decisions on user research, data, and industry standards
• Continuously update and improve Content design guidelines and resources

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Media or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Content design and UX writing for technology products and experiences.
• Experience working within a Design system developing Content design guidelines.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing successful Content design projects in English.
• Experience simplifying complex information into clear and concise content.
• A solid understanding of user-centered design principles and inclusive writing.
• Strong collaboration skills and confidence working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing effectively and adapting as needed.
• Comfortable owning your priorities and advocating for content-first thinking.
