Social Media Content Specialist (4–5+ Years Experience)

Location:

Hybrid / 3 days in the Office / Must be living in Madrid

We're seeking a highly creative and strategic
Social Media Content Specialist

who excels at managing the end-to-end process of the social media content strategy and delivery: developing smart content strategies, creating engaging content, and building strong online communities. 

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable both behind the camera and behind the keyboard, conceptualizing ideas, capturing UGC-style content during client shoots, and turning insights into stronger brand performance.

What You'll Do

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement multi-platform social media content strategies that support brand and campaign objectives.
  • Identify emerging trends, platform updates, and creative opportunities to enhance our digital presence.
  • Build and manage content calendars with clear planning and execution timelines.
  • Be a reference for what is new with formats, algorithms and platforms.

Content Creation & UGC-Style Production

  • Create high-quality content across formats: short-form video, reels, stories, static posts, etc.
  • Capture
    UGC-style content firsthand

during client shoots—acting as the storyteller, scriptwriter, and on-site creator.
- Bring strong creative ideas that reflect the brand identity and resonate with target audiences.

Community Management

  • Manage and engage with our online community across platforms, maintaining a consistent and authentic brand voice.
  • Monitor conversations, respond to messages/comments, and nurture meaningful interactions.
  • Track community sentiment and recommend engagement-focused improvements.

Performance, Optimization & Reporting

  • Analyze content and platform performance metrics to identify key learnings.
  • Provide
    regular performance reports

, highlighting insights and recommendations.
- Continuously optimize content formats, messaging, and posting strategies based on data-driven findings.

What We're Looking For

  • 4–5+ years of professional experience

in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
- Strong creative portfolio showcasing both produced and
UGC-style content

.
- Proven ability to conceptualize, script, and shoot engaging social content.
- Solid experience with community management and audience engagement.
- Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable interpreting metrics and applying insights.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Holding a disability certificate with a degree of 33% or higher will be considered a plus

Language Requirements

  • English and Spanish:

Fluent / Professional proficiency required

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience working with lifestyle, FMGC, travel/hospitality, or consumer brands.
  • Corporate/Insitutional experience is a plus.
  • Basic video editing, photography, or design skills.
  • Familiarity with paid social or influencer collaborations.
