Mission:
To guide students to explore the interactions between people, places, environments, and historical developments, encouraging them to understand how past events and geographic contexts shape present-day societies and global challenges. The mission is to cultivate critical thinking, intercultural awareness, and a deep sense of temporal and spatial perspective, empowering students to make informed, ethical decisions and actively engage with local and global issues.

Functions:
? Attend department meetings and participate in collaborative planning sessions.
? Provide individualized support and feedback to students to promote growth and address diverse learning needs.
? Take part in standardizing assessment tasks.
? Contribute to curriculum research and improvement.
? Stay updated on the IB program guides taught.
? Engage with parents to communicate students’ progress and address any academic or personal development concerns.

**Requisitos**:

Degree in History or Geography
A degree in Humanities, Social Sciences could also be acceptable, especially if the coursework includes strong components of history.
Teaching experience, preferably in one of the IB programmes (MYP and/or DP) in Humanities
English native speaker or native speaker level. Speaking Spanish and Catalan will be valued.
Microsoft Office user
Experience with other educational platforms to enhance classroom dynamics and promote such tools with the team will be appreciated.
