As an IT Mid-Level professional, you will support and maintain the studio's IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth daily operations and assisting in implementing new technology initiatives. This role will involve a blend of hands-on technical support, system maintenance, and collaboration with senior IT members to optimize and secure our infrastructure. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the proper functioning of hardware, software, and network systems, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Assist with managing the studio’s network infrastructure, including remote access systems and ensuring cybersecurity measures are adhered to.
- Work within a mixed operating system environment (80% Windows, 15% Linux, 5% Mac) and support user network management.
- Provide user support for technical issues related to both hardware and software, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Support the IT Manager in vendor communication and management for hardware, software, and other technology services.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in the IT sector.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems (Debian-based and RH-based).
- Experience with network infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Windows Batch, Powershell).
- A great team player with strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the VFX industry and DCC software such as Maya, Houdini, and Nuke.
- Experience with IT systems in a production or creative environment.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
