Emea Senior Marketing Manager Microbiology

**Job Description Summary**: The EMEA Microbiology Senior Marketing Manager, within the Diagnostic Solutions Business Unit, is responsible to provide vision, strategy and leadership in the development and execution of the Microbiology Diagnostics portfolio across EMEA region. The position will be responsible for managing the Microbiology marketing strategy including the value proposition, service offering and portfolio life cycle to optimize market penetration and share of category. The role will be responsible for leading a team of Marketing Associates.

**Main responsibilities will include**:
Marketing Management
- Develop and own the commercial strategy of the Microbiology Diagnostics portfolio.
- Consistently deliver results by both effectively managing their marketing budget and setting KPIs to ensure the proper execution of plans.
- Provide marketing expertise through specific and advanced set of skills and knowledge, e.g. branding, marketing communication, product and portfolio management, market planning and execution.

Commercial Excellence & Salesforce Effectiveness
- Drive the adoption of innovation and higher value products through integrated marketing programs, inclusive of market shaping and development.
- Establish fact-based account targeting and messaging strategies to drive optimal return on sales.
- Identify new business opportunities and target accounts. Develop marketing programs to retain and increase penetration in existing BD customers and convert competitive accounts.

General Leadership
- Effectively partner and collaborate within the matrix to drive key strategic and tactical marketing initiatives. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Operations to ensure timely and accurate communication of sales forecasts.
- Manage and optimize expense budgets to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Recruit, retain, motivate and develop a strong marketing team.

**About you**:

- Significant and proven progressive experience in marketing management in the life sciences industry, with demonstrated effective budget management. Experience in the management of Microbiology portfolios is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to convert commercial strategies into tactical marketing plans, delivering results
- Knowledge of EMEA healthcare markets, including expertise in diseases, treatments, medical procedures, competitor activity and broad market trends
- Demonstrated skills in attracting talent, leading and motivating teams - directly & indirectly
- Professional English
- Willingness to travel up to 35% of time for customer visits and internal meetings
