**Job Purpose**:
We are looking for a
**Cyber Security Engineer** able to participate in projects to deploy and enhance Cyber Security technologies.

As part of the Cyber Security team in Tech Data you will be responsible for project delivery, recommending and implementing enhancement for the current security measures, assist and investigate escalations as well as documenting our operative.

**Automation and Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GC) **and has excellent problem-solving and technical skills to work and deliver on tight deadlines.

Main focus areas are:

- Project delivery
- Reviewing existing system security measures and recommending and implementing enhancements
- Assist in escalations and investigations
- Produce design and operative documentation

**Responsibilities**:

- Planning, implementing, and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organization's data, systems, and networks.
- Ensuring that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
- Support security audits, risk analysis, and assessments
- Provide a consistent and accurate documentation, process workflows and configurations setup
- Maintain and enforce adherence to corporate standards, processes and procedures

**Critical Skills**:

- Knowledge of foundational security principles
- ** Strong IT skills **and knowledge, including hardware, software and networks
- Excellent problem-solving and technical skills
- Quick learner
- Capacity to deliver on tight deadlines
- Experience in Cloud environments (Azure/AWS/GC)
- Experience in Automation and orchestration
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and troubleshoot
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated and disciplined

**Additional Knowledge & Skills**:

- Knowledge or experience with various Security tools as **Intrusion Prevention**, **DLP, Endpoint Protection, Proxy/Web Filter, Encryption, Certificate Management**.
- Hand-on in Cyber Threat Intelligence
- Knowledge of Microsoft **Active Directory, Azure AD and Intune**:

- Scripting experience - Python, PowerShell, Regular expressions, etc.
- Web Application Firewalls knowledge and Application Security
- Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CISA, GIAC, Security Plus, others)

**Qualifications/Education - Minimum Requirements**
- Bachelor's Degree with IT field of study required.
- 5-8 years of relevant work experience in security.
- Other Education / Certifications: selection of security and technology certifications and/or equivalent proven work experience

**Working Conditions**:

- Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
- Some travel required.
- Flexible remote work.
