**Clinician Senior Consultant**:
**Location: Barcelona or Madrid**:
**IQVIA is looking for an experienced Clinician who has previous experience of working in a Consulting environment.**:
**This professional should be able to support healthcare consulting services, in a range of clients between Hospitals, Public Health organizations, Governments and private healthcare institutions from hospitals to insurance companies.**:
**The field of knowledge and general skills that would be desirable to be covered by this professional includes**:

- ** Having a base of experience in interaction with medical professionals, since levels of direct conversation are established with these profiles, which requires being familiar with the technical dialogue and the decision and analysis criteria usual in said professional profile.**:

- ** Experience aligning the expectations and needs of the clients with the capabilities and knowledge that we provide at IQVIA, which require this level of specialization.**:

- ** We understand that it is therefore necessary to have a profile with medical knowledge, with maturity and projection both to assume the current and future activity, as well as to be able to support other PPG business lines.**:
**Knowledge & Skills Required**:

- ** Education - Medicine, biomedicine**:

- ** Desirable Experience**:

- ** At least one year of clinical experience.**:

- ** Experience in consulting projects.**:

- ** Experience in research projects in health sciences: basic or clinical research. Especially in clinical trials.**:

- ** Development of projects, activities or services interacting with people with the following profiles**:

- ** Health professionals (doctors, nurses, technicians, etc.).**:

- ** Professionals responsible for management and organizational, economic, financial, human resources and/or operations functions in health services.**:

- ** Head of Health Information Systems.**:

- ** Management and coordination of people in charge in the development of activities and, preferably, projects in which they have had a role of responsibility.**:

- ** General knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and general familiarity with prevalent diseases (chronic diseases, cancer, among others).**:

- ** Knowledge of the functioning of the Spanish National Health System.**:

- ** Knowledge of general health data coding standards: International Classification of Diseases (ICD-10 and later versions), Diagnosis-Related Groups (DRGs), etc.**:

- ** Microsoft Power Point, Excel & Word.**:
***Desirable Knowledge**:

- **Administration and management of health services.**:

- ** Experience in exploitation and analysis with Databases.**:

- ** Experience in the use of Business Intelligence systems (e.g. MS Power BI, Tableau, etc. )**:
