Atradius has more than 150 offices, access to credit information on 52 million companies worldwide and makes over 22,000 trade credit limit decisions daily. **Business Unit**: You will be reporting into the **Enterprise Data Management **team that sits within the Enterprise Data Function. This is a newly formed function within Atradius. The current priority of the team is to ensure **insurance regulatory processes**, such as IFRS17 and Solvency II, comply with internal Data Quality Policy. We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Data Management Analyst with an engineering-focused mind-set to join our team. As a Senior Data Management Analyst, your primary goal is to: - Understand and map data flows from system to system, including transformations, orchestration, integration, API’s; an - Work closely with engineering teams to develop and implement effective data management strategies that support the organization’s technical goals. **Responsibilities**: You will be responsible for the following: - Understand and map data flows from system to system, including transformations, orchestration, integration, and API’s. - Document process flow, procedures, and instructions to ensure the accuracy and quality of data at every stage of the data lifecycle. - Interpret and operationalise data quality requirements given by the business and ensure they are technically and functionally implemented and where possible automated. - Use a range of tools and solutions to manage data quality and lead resolution of data deficiencies, including using analytical and conceptual skills to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources. - Communicate complex data management concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure resolution of data quality changes and defects. - Lead resolution of data deficiencies, including using analytical and conceptual skills to evaluate information gathered from multiple sources - Work with a team that operates in an agile manner and in close collaboration with business and IT. - Ensure all work is documented and auditable - Promote a better data governance, ownership and accountability culture **Skills & Experience**: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree computer science, information management or related field. - Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the insurance sector. - Sound understanding of data management concepts and techniques. - Experience in managing data quality issues and their resolution. - Effective communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with variety of stakeholders. - Comfortable managing SQL, R or Python. - Exposure to data management tooling, such as Collibra, Informatica, IBM InfoSphere, etc., is desirable. - Fluent English (spoken and written) - Ability to travel will also on occasion be required (
