We are designing and building a fleet of near-space hypersonic vehicles and the associated infrastructures to support the world’s fastest transportation network. Our hypersonic aircraft define a new class of fast.

Tasks

You will be primarily responsible for developing mechanical/structural systems for subsonic/supersonic and hypersonic flights. You will be a part of our engineering team and interact with all engineering disciplines to resolve new issues as they arise.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Design of mechanical parts and assembly for aerospace systems;
- Structural optimization;
- Material selection;
- Laboratory, ground and flight test support;
- Preparation of technical reports and presentations;
- Continuous exchanges with suppliers;
- Assist in the development of manufacturing, integration, and test processes and procedures;
- Raw test data processing and analysis validation;
- Certification and qualification process support.

**Requirements**:

- BS., MS., Ph.D in an Aerospace or a related discipline;
- Required experience in a Structural/ Mechanical Engineering (in Space/ Aerospace will be advantage): BS - 8 years, MS - 6 years, PhD - 4 years;
- The strong knowledge of, structural design and understanding of the structural behavior and material science;
- Strong knowledge of CAD systems (Siemens NX, Catia etc);
- Knowledge of surface and solid design;
- Knowledge of conceptual design procedure;
- Strong understanding of aerospace project stages;
- Good communication skills, proactive attitude, and problem-solving skills;
- The ability to work to strict timescales as part of an integrated, multidiscipline team, as well as autonomously; and
- The ability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment are required.

Desired Qualifications and Experience
- Experience of CAD tools programming and scripting;
- Knowledge of continuum and solid mechanics;
- Knowledge of applied mathematics and physics;
- Understanding of hypersonic flight physics;
- Knowledge of aerospace aerodynamics design;
- Experience of C++ / Python / Matlab programming;
- Experience of laboratory, ground and flight test;
- Knowledge of GVT performing;
- Participation in certification process;
Language
- Knowledge of the English language is required;
- Knowledge of the French or German language is an advantage.
