**Merlin Digital Partner** is a tailor-made digital recruitment company for startups, scale-ups and corporates. We were born in **Tech Barcelona **where we established one of our main offices.

**We are currently looking for a Chief Operations Officer (COO).**

**Our partner,** a **startup, which already has 40 employees**, **dedicated to the health technology sector** and focused on the digitization of clinical data for the optimization and accuracy of data in the health sector. **Developing solutions based on AI and machine learning for the improvement of medical care and clinical research.**

**Let's talk about the role...**
- The core of your role will be **leading the coordination and execution of technical operations in the data fabric**, ensuring process optimization, service quality, deadline compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- The COO will have **direct responsibility for managing and coordinating the different Operations teams,** ensuring efficient and effective management of data production and product delivery processes.
- You will be working in a very dynamic environment, which means that you must have a** strong problem-solving ability, organization skills, and be proactive**.
- You have **experience in leading production teams** and will be knowledgeable in data management and process optimization.

**Your tasks**:

- **Giving support to the rest of the team.**:

- **Define, implement, and manage data production**, quality, and service processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality data-products and customer satisfaction.
- **Coordinate and supervise the work of the different Operations teams**, ensuring that data management is carried out efficiently and effectively, and that deadlines are met.
- **Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency** and effectiveness of production and product delivery processes, proposing and implementing solutions that optimize data manufacturing.
- **Work collaboratively with sales, customer success, marketing and product** teams to define the company's business strategy and ensure that production is aligned with market needs.
- **Monitor and optimize the production** tracking system and service quality.
- **Establish and monitor key performance indicators** (KPIs) and operational metrics, and make recommendations to improve efficiency and service quality.
- **Identify risks and opportunities** and develop mitigation and exploitation plans.
- Regularly** report to top management on the status of operations** and the
performance of the Operations teams.

**About you**:

- You are a **strategic thinker with excellent communication skills**, capable of collaborating effectively with different teams and hierarchical levels within the company.
- You** enjoy working in a wide range of areas** and adapts quickly to new situations.
- You have a **Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field**.
- At least **5 of previous experience in leadership and management of production **teams, preferably in a technology company.
- **Experience in leading teams** of at least 5 people.
- **Technical knowledge of data management** and experience in defining and managing production and quality control processes.
- Experience in establishing and monitoring operational metrics and KPIs.
- **Excellent communication skills**, including the ability to communicate effectively with different teams and hierarchical levels within the company.
- Ability to **work in a highly collaborative and constantly changing environment**.
- **Highly motivated, with strong leadership**, time management, and problem solving skills.
