We are expanding our team to take on Timing And Frequency** **projects, that will enhance positioning and real time data from GNSS independant, ethernet based time distribution through optial fibre, hardware and software technologies.

**WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?**

In our team you will be supporting the development of communications systems, including terrestrial and satellite radio systems, cybersecurity, networks and computing systems, and electronics integration. This is an opportunity to work with a broad range of technologies to develop real-world solutions.

In this role you will be:

- Developing your knowledge in IP network management, NTP/PTP, White Rabbit, FPGA, VHDL, Verilog.
- Provide systems engineering support in space and terrestrial communication architectures
- Assess the performance of satellite and ground systems, communications links, and wireless network protocols
- Present technical and project status briefings to management and customers
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills
- Enhance, support and colloborate with the team in designing, developing, testing programming skills within Python, Docker, C++
- Writing technical documentation with the project requirements and quality assurance

**WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?**

We are looking for **Telecommunication or electronic engineers** with knowledge in some of the following technologies:
**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or Computer Engineering or similar engineering qualification
- 2 - 4+ years of professional industry experience
- Applied knowledge in communication systems, architectures, and networks
- Familiarity in Electronics integration and signal processing
- Programing skills in Python, C/ C++, MatLab, Docker, UNIX, etc.
- IP network management, NTP/PTP
- Background in communication systems

**How You Can Stand Out**
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:

- Strong knowledge in communication systems, architectures, and networks
- Knowledge of White Rabbit system
- Knowledge of the Precision Time Protocol
- Knowledge and skills within Web development, graphical interfaces and plotting
- Knowledge and experience within the operation of clocks and lab instuments (counter, etc)
- Experience of using Kalman filtering algorthms to determine estimation and current state optimization, along with composite clocks and clock stability metrics (ADEV, etc)
- Experience and skills with FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Arrays).
- Experience and skills with developing VSLI technology using VHDL and Verilog programming.
