Head of Business Analysis and Operations

**Team overview**

The Business Analysis and Operations team works on high-impact analytics, cross-functional projects to drive business growth, increase our marketplace reliability, reach profitability, and support all the teams with the tools they need. Through business and marketplace metrics monitoring, competition insights and feedback from the operational teams, we identify market degradations or opportunities, and we implement solutions with the help of local or product teams.

To sum-up, the team is at the crucial node between all tech, support and business teams, as Heetch is currently open in 7 countries in Europe (France, Belgium) and Africa (Algeria, Angola, Senegal, Ivory Coast and Mali).

**What will be your role?**

As the Head of Business Analysis and Operations, your goal will be to be both a business partner for Heetch’s markets, a people captain, as well as a project leader. You will support the leadership team with recommendations and insights to build the company strategy.

You will have 3 main objectives and responsibilities.

1. Make your team grow and perform perfectly:

- Management of 3 Business Analysts + 3 Solutions Engineers
- Defining the main priorities
- Making people grow to save you more and more time

2. Help and challenge local General Managers and teams:

- Being on the ground helps them to get a lot of intuition
- Your team’s role is first to challenge it with data to define the best strategy and then, to perfectly execute the solution
- To help you, 1 local operation manager is at your disposal (indirect management)

3. Work closely with the tech teams : Product, Data, Marketplace, Growth
- Your team is the node between local teams and global teams
- You have to make sure the “real” problems are identified by global teams so they can focus on what’s the most impactful

**Here are some missions you will have**:

- Be in charge of setting business analysis frameworks, sharing high standards analysis methodologies and enforcing data best practices
- Bring actionable market insights to the company with best-in-class competition intelligence, ground and operational feedback
- Own the growth monitoring and planning of our business units, including funnels and lifecycle performance
- Help us go deeper in the understanding of our complex marketplaces with advanced analysis
- Scale and globalize countries operations to make marketplaces more reliable and profitable through efficient common processes
- Accompany product features at a local scale and support all operations teams
- Define the strategy and ensure the alignment with the other teams

**What do you need to be successful in this role?**
- You are an experienced business analyst: 3+ years of experience in the field
- You are a doer. You love to do things manually and help when it’s needed
- SQL, Excel,G-suite, data structures and visualization tools have no secret for you
- You have already managed small teams: 2+ years
- You have exceptional communication (spoken and written) skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations to the targeted audience
- You have an experience in startups
- You have a strong business mindset, you feel the business and love it
- You're able to balance multiple projects, deadlines and requests without breaking a sweat (or a tiny bit)
- You are fluent both in French and English
- You are willing and eligible to work in Barcelona
- You love to deliver great work and need to enjoy your job to be happy
