You would be working within the Physical Meeting Points domain covers the wide range of experiences and platforms that support the customer and coworker journey in IKEA stores.
- You have more than 3-years of experience in product management and/or product innovation
- You have extensive knowledge of product discovery techniques and delivering successful and innovative consumer experiences.
- Ideally you understand the challenges of designing innovative experiences for physical retail
- Ideally you are experienced in working alongside experience design teams prototyping and testing innovative solutions with customers and/or coworkers.
- Ideally you have a clear understanding of a functional innovation cycle.
- You can shift fluidly from strategic planning with peers and leaders to hands-on working directly with development teams.
- You have experience working with vendors and key partners to assess and deliver tests or pilots of innovative experiences.
- You are data-driven and lean on quantitative analysis and qualitative insights to guide your decisions on product direction.

- You are highly organized, with strong communication skills, and enjoy working in complex environments.
A day in your life with us
You will take a key role in leading the innovative digital solutions that solve customer needs and contribute to our business goals. Key activities will be leading the understanding and validation of desirability, viability, and feasibility of solutions towards a product vision for Future Experiences and supporting development teams to deliver the solutions globally. You will have close collaboration partners within the PMP Digital Product Teams including UX, Engineering, and Data within Madrid and several other teams across the world.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Product Owner or someone with equivalent background to:
- Understand and help categorize how current and innovative technology solutions solve for customer and coworker needs.
- Support the needs of our new Experience Lab retail testing space within a Madrid IKEA store.
- Support validation of solutions from prototypes to pilots with local markets and beyond.
- Assess future experiences needs through solution validation across a portfolio of tools.
- Support the intake, pipeline and demos of Future Experiences & Innovation to stakeholders.
- Contribute to prioritization of the overall roadmap of in-store digital touchpoints.
- Help tell the story of how future experiences and innovation drives our stores work forward.
- Be a product-centric bridge to key internal partners and stakeholders on experience needs and how they relate to product capabilities.
This role reports to the Product Manager in the Customer Experience Subdomain within Physical Meeting Points (stores) Team.
This role is based in our digital hub in Madrid, Spain
