**Yoyr responsibilities will include**:

- Collaborate with Sandoz HSE Leadership teams and major stakeholders to assess organizational needs and develop an aligned global health, safety and environment strategy to manage Chemical stewardship risk, ensure compliance, prevent incidents and deliver industry-leading safety performance.
- Aligned with this strategy, develop, plan and drive implementation of appropriate policies and programs to reduce current and future Chemical Stewardship related risks and liabilities.
- Guides site on compliance requirements internally and externally.
- Advises the HSE business partners.
- Facilitates the definition of Chemical Stewardship and related KPIs, monitors performance and ensures accurate reporting of relevant data. Provide ongoing coaching and support to HSE community worldwide.
- Ensures relevant Chemical Stewardship training is provided by the most efficient and effective means to the HSE community in accordance with identified training needs.
- Establishes a strong and effective network and connection with sites, units (toxicology, quality, development centres) and external service providers.
- Develops and deploys new ideas and uses new innovative digital tools and platforms for providing Chemical Stewardship direction.

**What you'll bring to the role**:

- Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry or Biology (or equivalent).
- Significant experience in Chemical Substance Stewardship, preferably in Pharma
- Sound knowledge on HSE regulations
