We have a very strong technical team from which you will be able to learn, but are encouraged by new ideas and fresh thinking that you will bring with you. **In this role you will**: Work alongside the Accounting and Controlling Director, to provide invaluable financial analysis and support to WebBeds' Senior Finance team. You will aid in their informed decision making by providing insightful financial assistance concerning Balance Sheet reconciliation and analysis. Tasks integral to this role include Balance Sheet review, generating standardized reports, critically evaluating different balance sheet items, and conducting added-value analysis to support management decisions. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the Balance Sheet Assets and Liabilities as well as assisting in external audits and maintaining control over ledger-to-financial reporting reconciliations. As a vital leadership position, substantial travel to our global offices will be expected. **Key elements to this role include, but not limited to**: - Evaluate financial statements, trial balances, and general ledger details prepared by Finance team members along with supporting schedules, to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS standards. - Review journal entries for significant transactions and review Balance Sheet reconciliations of the WebBeds Group in order to identify any risk or opportunities. - Prepare account reconciliations and Balance Sheet account fluctuations analysis. Assist in the preparation of the monthly Balance Sheet pack. - Prepare schedules, reports and ad-hoc analysis for each closing period as required by the Management. - Assist in managing half-year reviews and year-end audit completed by the Company's external auditors. - Research and resolve accounting issues, including evaluation, documentation, and implementation of accounting pronouncements to ensure accounting policies compliance. - Ensure financial accounting system functionality is fully and efficiently utilized. - Provide accounting support to the Management on special projects as required. - Participate in migration projects of remaining entities into SAP environment, focusing on R2R/A2R area. - Help with standardizing accounting processes between entities from different countries, aligning the mapping and Balance Sheet presentation. - Provide technical accounting support to Finance team members in resolutions of SAP change requests, ad-hoc issues and
