It’s an exciting time to join Ohmium as we scale our operations internationally. This leadership role will be based in Sevilla Spain and be an integral part of our growth in Europe. The role will be both hands-on and tactical as well as strategic as you will help us complete a variety of tasks. As Ohmium's Field Service Manager (Spain), you will manage installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities associated with deployed electrolyzer systems. By tapping into your leadership and project management skills, you will manage a team of field personnel and refine their workflows. You and your team will execute all site work to support service contract requirements.
Job Overview
As Spain's Field Service Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of the field services team who care for a fleet of deployed electrolyzers including the organization and planning for the installation, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance activities of the field services team. Each day will offer new and exciting challenges as you lead your team, including but not limited to:
Duties & Responsibilities- Ensure that the field services team is working safely in accordance with company, the customer, governmental, and local jurisdiction standards.- Organize field service teams to execute maintenance activities at customer facilities in accordance with available documentation, standards, and industry best practices.- Provide ongoing support and insight into the development of documentation and standards required for the safe and effective deployment of the company’s product.- Ensure that field service operations are constantly seeking to improve field services processes, process execution, documentation to eliminate waste, increase reliability and safe operations.- Produce oversight and guidance to the field services team to effectively manage complex workflows, including the efforts of sub-contractors.- Manage service vehicle, spare part, and tool kit inventories.- Make safety a top priority by meeting and exceeding company, customer and regulatory safety guidelines and practices.- Continually monitor, improve, and drive positive interface with customers and support their needs.- Ensure that the field services team produces timely and detailed service reports as required for each service call.- Manage field services team availability to ensure 24/7 customer support at all customer facilities as required.- Provide ongoing training and education to the field services team to ensure its ability to diagnose, repair, maintain, and improve the deployment and operation of the company’s product.- Build a strong field services team by ensuring effective field staff execution by coaching and counseling employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

Required Qualifications, Education & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in business, science, technology, engineering, or mathematics

- the equivalent combination of education, training and experience._- Drive license in good standing.- 6+ years’ experience working on complex, deployed systems with operational management responsibilities or five (5) years relevant military experience.- Excellent Microsoft 365 skills.
