7 + years risk management or relevant work experience, including influential roles on large scale, complex, high profile programs.

7 + years of experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior management.

7+ years of experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.

Experience implementing the recommendations of the TCFD in a large company

Experience in climate risk management and mitigation and deploying and execution on solutions

Experience developing and overseeing multi-year roadmap roadmap strategy and definition

Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.

Experience managing multiple internal stakeholders, including advising and influence cross-functional teams.

Experience delivering results in large, cross-functional initiatives.

The EU Sustainability team is looking for a purpose driven TCFD Lead, to coordinate the implementation of Amazon's climate risk strategy, and support related reporting requirements across the EU and UK.

Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities will include a cross-functional collaboration with central Sustainability teams, business teams and central support functions (especially Finance, Accounting and Legal) across the company on streamlined, mechanisms to effectively manage climate risk in line with the Taskforce for Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) recommendations. You will be a central point of contact for a large number of stakeholders across the UK and EU as part of a global team. You will be responsible for reinforcing and shaping a holistic, innovative vision and integrating a “business as usual” mindset across Amazon.

This role requires you to have a cutting edge understanding of best practice across the four pillars of the TCFD recommendations in the context of external reporting requirements. You will collaborate with internal and external experts and tech teams on the development of organizational climate scenario analysis, and tools for the assessment of climate risk and opportunity. You will support business teams on the integration of these tools as well as the identification of key metrics and KPI’s and associated strategic considerations. You will also support on TCFD reporting strategies, and create and improve mechanisms and roadmaps that will delight internal and external customers.

To succeed in this role, you will integrate your expertise in climate risk with the ability to handle ambiguity and integrate fast change.
