External Job Description:
ERM is seeking a Senior Consultant for its Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change team in Madrid, Spain.

Technical Knowledge:
- Educational Background: Possess a relevant technical degree or have at least 3 years of experience in environmental consulting, climate change, or a related industry.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in high-impact and high-complexity sectors is beneficial.
- Strong expertise in GHG Accounting and Climate Risks Assessments: Demonstrated expertise in GHG accounting and reporting principles, including familiarity with mechanisms and methodologies such as the GHG Protocol, SECR, SBTi, EEIO, etc. Demonstrated expertise in physical and transition risks assessment aligned with the TCFD.
- Experience in ESG reporting and Double Materiality Assessments in the context of the CSRD in a plus.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to adapt to changing client needs and prioritize tasks in highly dynamic work environment.
Technical Skills:
- Multi-tasking Ability: Capable of managing and delivering multiple projects concurrently, each with unique requirements and timelines.
- Business Development: Experienced in drafting proposals and driving business growth.
- Data Analysis: Highly numerate with a strong ability to handle large datasets in Excel, performing complex conversions and calculations.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and oral presentation skills in both English and Spanish, with strong technical writing and ability to synthesize information into high-quality reports.
